In the second half of the 19th century, a local well established farmers SABICA in the region, they were called by the matriarch. In addition to running the business of livestock and grain, together, Sabica encouraged children to go for their own wines making as well, which competed annually with those of the mother and the other brothers.
In the Casa de Sabicos wines, the Sabó Grandma's wine philosophy is taken up by two new generations of Sabicans.
The oak casks are the same, the materials, the percentages and the distribution of them are carefully revised so as to obtain wines with the fundamental characteristics of the Sabica Grandmother, adapted now to the new habits of consumption.
This wine is a Cuvee of these three grapes: Aragonez, Trincadeira and Alicante Bouschet.
