We brought many shipments of Gewürztraminer wines to Hong Kong for the connoisseurs in the past ten years. Experiences that we have accumulated on wines with such interesting varietal are the followings;
German, New Zealand and Italian are preferable.
Alcohol content ranges between 13% to close to 15% preferable for getting the best fragrant.
Wine quality levels as the German ratings of Qba, Kabinett and Spaetlese or equivalent are preferable.
Styles of off dry and dry are both great wines.
This is a dry Qba. rated Gewürztraminer white wine and has matured in oak barrels for some time in order reaching a status of reserve, a very pretentious grape with a seductive scent of roses, nutmeg and Chrysanthemum. Light in acidity with a touch of leeches sweetness, well balance.
Qba. standard for Qualitätswein bestimmter Anbaugebiete oder (Quality wine from specified areas).
Please enjoy this wine with blue cheese, Thai and especially the curries (not much wine go well this dishes) , serving temperature at about 10℃.
