This high quality full body wine is a cuvee of four varietials, the first three are native:Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet and Cabernet Sauvignon. the vineyard is located in Mediterranean Climate's Reguengos of Alentejo, and planted on Red Chalky and Granitic Soil.
long maceration in steel vats with temperature control; later conducted a maturation of 12 months in new French oak barrels.
A fruity complex of very ripe blackberries and plum in good balance with the oak; hints of dark chocolate and vanilla, Soft, fruity, notes of smoke suggested by the oak; light astringent; tannins of the wine and of the oak in deep harmony; long, persistent finish and rich acidity.
