This wine contains little tannins give the wine soft as silks, very easy to drink. Now is the perfect time to drink it. The color is in dark red but not too strong and less in violet. Toasted smell received from the barrels. Flavour of cherries, vanilla and odour of cedar wood and share this wine for dark meat, venison meat, pasta…etc. or drink it alone.

A hybrid of Helfenstein and Heroldgrape, created 1955 by August Herold in Pfalz and named after the vintner Imanuel Dornfeld. Since 1975 popular in all German wine areas. Supplies a dark red wine, sometimes even shows a touch of blue colour, with a prominent and fruity flavour. Remembered for the intense fruit aromas, like blackberry and sour cherry. Bottled and marked young, like a Beaujolais Nouveau, very little affected by tannin extract. All-round, a harmonic wonderfull red wine, if produced under quality conditions! A deep red tempation, served slightly chilled, is a great and popular wine in Germany.
