Pfalz, 2003, St. Laurent -S -

This wine was in Barriques minimum 12 month, a part in new, a part in one or two years old Barriques. this wine offer a hint of plumes and blackberry, easy drinking wine. Suggest to breathe for 1/2 hours. Like all other -S- class wines of Klein, his St. Laurent were strong reduced in output by app. 4000l/ha. in order to increase the quality. The odour is a mixture from dark berry fruits accompanied with a light flavour of black pepper and vanilla with a complex and density taste. The structure is velvet by an extremely powerful flavour. Simply is a great wine. An excellent accompany to dark meat dishes with spicy sauces, and soft rich cheese Rate 87 pts by Gault Millau, the leading buyer’s guild of German wine
